ICCO Summit Reveals Full Lineup
Global CEOs of APCO Worldwide, FleishmanHillard, GolinHarris, Huntsworth, Ogilvy PR and Porter Novelli to discuss the future of the agency business in Paris.
The International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) today announced the full lineup for the upcoming ICCO Summit “Change or Perish: The Future of PR”.
The Summit will take place in Paris on 10-11th October 2013.
Among the highlights of day one are speeches from two of the most powerful women in the industry – Margery Kraus and Karen van Bergen. Kraus, the founder and CEO of the largest women and independently owned global communications firm APCO Worldwide, will speak about the role of women in shaping the past and future direction of PR. Porter Novelli Global CEO Karen van Bergen will tackle the existing diversity crisis within the industry, and outline the ways it can be reversed.
On the same day FleishmanHillard and GolinHarris Chief Executives Dave Senay and Fred Cookwill present their contrasting versions of the “Agency of the Future” based on the recent reorganisations their consultancies underwent. Their debate will be moderated by Paul Holmes.
The afternoon of day one will be devoted to the question of Innovation in PR. Representatives from Weber Shandwick, Text 100, Burson-Marsteller, GolinHarris, Wellhoff and maslansky + partners will discuss the latest techniques PR consultancies develop to improve their services, and potential areas of research in the future.
The second Summit day will feature the keynote by Huntsworth CEO Lord Chadlington. Another major Summit address on that day will be delivered by the Global CEO ofOgilvy PR Christopher Graves who will talk about the five forces that will change the agency business for good.
Senior Director of Media, Entertainment and Information industries at the World Economic Forum Diana El-Azar will present the findings of the WEF Global Agenda Council study on the Future of the Media.
Day 2 will also feature panel discussions with the world’s leading independent agencies on how they can compete with the established networks on home turf and internationally, as well as expert panels on creativity and creating Award-winning campaigns.
The Summit social programme will include the Gala Dinner on 10th October, and Farewell Drinks after the official closing of the Summit on 11th October.
