Activation Partners (APs) have been integral part of ICCO’s PR support for the Weather Kids Campaign. Each AP has taken a leading role in advising and activating the earned media in their specialist market. The Activation Partners were responsible for distributing media materials to journalists and broadcast and print media outlets in a specific geography and managing media relations to encourage earned media coverage of a UNDP campaign.

In addition to the distribution of media materials, partners placed interviews with local media outlets and in certain markets, gained online social media coverage and influencer support.
