Kresten is the founder and owner of LEAD Agency. Kresten consults on strategy, press, PA and management, specialising in branding and positioning.

Kresten holds a Master’s degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen and the University of California. His career includes positions as head of section in the Ministry of Education, personal secretary to the Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, opinions editor etc. at Danish daily Politiken, editor-in-chief of the Danish newspapers Aktuelt and Dagbladet Dagen, Nordic and Baltic Head of Communications at The Coca-Cola Company and Sales and Communications Director at the Royal Theatre.  Kresten is a member of several boards, including Best Destination Partner, Lenager Architects and Creativity & Communication. He also teaches strategic communication at Copenhagen Business School, reviews literature on communication for Politiken and writes columns for Danish daily Berlingske and the marketing journal Markedsføring.
