ICCO Welcomes New Member Association

The Dutch Association of public relations consultancies VPRA today officially joined the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) as its 29th member association.

ICCO’s membership is comprised of national PR associations in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australasia. Collectively these associations represent over 1700 public relations consultancies.

VPRA is the biggest national PR association in Netherlands, covering over 50 independent consultancies and global network affiliates in the country.

From now on the VPRA members will be able to benefit from a range of ICCO services such as training, industry data, international agency referral service, and discounts for international PR events such as the recent ICCO Summit in Paris. All VPRA members will receive their individual copy of the World PR Report that ICCO recently produced with The Holmes Report.

VPRA Secretary Serge Beckers (pictured), who works as a managing consultant for Wisse Kommunikatie, will join the ICCO Board of Management as an official representative for Netherlands.

“All ICCO activities are extremely beneficial to our members. We are getting bigger and more professional, and our association has an increasing number of members who want to understand how national and international colleagues address certain issues. Partnership with ICCO will help us meet those members’ needs.”
David Gribnau, VPRA Chairman

“We are delighted to welcome the VPRA as our newest member. This vibrant and dynamic association had demonstrated remarkable growth in the past two years, and is undoubtedly the voice of PR in Netherlands. I very much look forward to working with the VPRA secretariat and its 50 member agencies for the benefit of global PR industry.”
Francis Ingham, ICCO Chief Executive
