Johanna Maska is CEO of Global Situation Room, a public affairs firm and partner of Porter Novelli. Maska also is a host of Pod is a Woman, a podcast that explores politics and popular culture through the lens of a diverse group of former White House officials. Maska served as President Barack Obama’s Director of Press Advance. In that role she set the stage for President Obama’s first campaign for President from the early days of the Iowa caucus in 2007 – 2015.
